A compliment.<\/p>

A thank you.<\/p>

A moment of appreciation.<\/p>

They seem small.<\/p>

Almost insignificant.<\/p>

But they’re not.<\/p>

Because being noticed matters.<\/p>

Not being admired.<\/p>

Not being celebrated.<\/p>

Just being seen.<\/p>

A compliment doesn’t inflate the ego.<\/p>

It grounds us.<\/p>

It says:<\/p>

I noticed you.<\/p>

What you did reached me.<\/p>

And that’s enough.<\/p>

A thank you is not a habit.<\/p>

It’s recognition.<\/p>

It tells us that our presence,<\/p>

our efforts,<\/p>

our way of being<\/p>

Made a difference in someone else’s moment.<\/p>

We move through days doing things,<\/p>

showing up,<\/p>

giving energy.<\/p>

Often without feedback.<\/p>

Often without acknowledgment.<\/p>

So when appreciation comes,<\/p>

Not because we need approval,<\/p>

But because we are human.<\/p>

Being noticed is not weakness.<\/p>

It’s connection.<\/p>

It reminds us that we are not invisible.<\/p>

That we exist not only for ourselves,<\/p>

But also in the lives of others.<\/p>

Sometimes all it takes<\/p>

to feel real<\/p>

Is a simple gesture.<\/p>

A look.<\/p>

A word.<\/p>

A compliment.<\/p>
