When we were younger, we believed without shame.<\/p>

In fairytales.<\/p>

In eternal love.<\/p>

In something that lasts.<\/p>

Not because we were na\u00efve,<\/p>

but because we hadn’t learned how to protect ourselves yet.<\/p>

Growing up taught us to be careful.<\/p>

Not to promise too much.<\/p>

Not to expect too much.<\/p>

Not to believe too much.<\/p>

We were told that fairytales don’t exist.<\/p>

That love changes.<\/p>

That everything ends.<\/p>

And maybe that’s true.<\/p>

Or maybe it’s just easier to say so.<\/p>

Believing in fairytales today<\/p>

feels like a weakness.<\/p>

An illusion.<\/p>

A waste of time.<\/p>

But what do we really lose<\/p>

When do we stop believing?<\/p>

It doesn’t matter who it is.<\/p>

It doesn’t matter whether it’s him or her.<\/p>

Or how the story looks from the outside.<\/p>

What matters<\/p>

Is that the love inside.<\/p>

Not because it lasts forever,<\/p>

But because, while it exists,<\/p>

it is real.<\/p>

Maybe love isn’t what fades.<\/p>

Maybe it’s us<\/p>

Who stop staying.<\/p>

Staying when it’s easy.<\/p>

Staying when it’s hard.<\/p>

Staying even when it’s not perfect.<\/p>

Fairytales don’t promise a life without pain.<\/p>

They promise presence.<\/p>

And there is nothing more beautiful than love.<\/p>

If it lasts.<\/p>

If it doesn’t.<\/p>

If it fades.<\/p>

Love is always beautiful and should be internally eternal.<\/p>

What changes<\/p>

Is what we choose to do with it.<\/p>
