When Words Can’t Explain

It took time to write this.

Not because the words were hard to find,

but because the feeling didn’t want to be explained.

Some of the most beautiful feelings

can’t be described.

Not because words are missing,

but because words aren’t made for that.

Words are for listening.

Emotions are for feeling.

And those are not the same thing.

You can listen perfectly

and still not feel anything.

You can hear every word

and miss what really matters.

Listening happens in the head.

Feeling happens somewhere else.

That’s why some things sound right

but don’t move anything inside.

And others move you deeply

without saying much at all.

We try to translate emotions.

To put them into sentences.

To make them understandable.

But the most honest ones

don’t ask to be understood.

They ask to be felt.
