What did youlearn too late?

We say it all the time.

“I wish I knew this sooner.”

But maybe
we couldn’t have.

We weren’t born
knowing how life works.

We had to live it.

To try.

To change.

To understand things
we weren’t ready
to understand before.

And yes,
sometimes we realize things
later than we wish we had.

That’s human.

We can’t take
what we know today
and give it
to who we were yesterday.

Maybe some things
don’t come too late.

Maybe they come
when we’re finally
ready to understand them.
